I was delighted to be invited by the Geographical Society to give a talk about “Demographic Change and Population Projections” to secondary-school students.
I drew on my research experience building models of demographic change and focused on a recent paper which assesses different population growth scenarios under a range of international migration assumptions. It was an enjoyable experience and an interesting challenge to translate my expertise and research for a new audience.
the talk is available on Youtube and a summary of the content is available as a CDRC news item.
